Meet April’s Employee of the Month
Katie Benjamin has been working at Novelty Hill Januik Winery since December 2016. She attended college at Colorado State University where she received a degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Like most people under the age of 25, Katie is not certain what path she wants her career to take but is very interested in Human Resource Management, Supply Chain Management, and the Wine Industry. Her favorite memory so far working at the winery has been her first wedding experience, she loved seeing how our space evolved through the night and how much fun the guest and couple had while celebrating their big day. Katie’s favorite varietal is Syrah and she especially loves our 2013 Januik Ciel Du Cheval Syrah. Her favorite position to work is the events but enjoys working tasting room hours occasionally, to help educate our guest about our wines and to let them know her favorites. Katie says, “The best part about working at Novelty-Hill Januik Winery is the people! Everyone is fun, patient, and wanting to make an atmosphere that both customers and co-workers enjoy.” She loves the team and the unique events that we help create here at the winery, and we love having her here.
