Meet July’s Employee of the Month

Cellar Master Grady Kenealey has been with Novelty Hill-Januik for many years.

Fueled by espresso and good humor, Grady’s many contributions to winemaking at NH-J include being master forklift driver, inventory expert for all your favorite wines, and ice cream distributor for the bottler’s lunches.

Grady claims Royal Slope Red is his favorite NH-J wine. Grady is also a connoisseur of Northwest brews and brown liquor. Along with his colleagues in the cellar Grady is known to enjoy a classic local burger at The Horseshoe Tavern.

As one of the many food lovers here at NH-J, some of Grady’s favorite perks of the job are free wine & gourmet food prepared by the winery’s culinary team and during harvest Mike Januik’s hardy breakfast delights.

This month we would like to celebrate this newlywed for his longtime contributions to the Winery. We are proud to have him as part of the winery family.
