What is your favorite dish to cook?
It depends on the occasion. I really enjoy making soups, stews, and braised dishes. There is something very comforting about sharing these foods with friends and family.
What is your earliest food memory?
My father was a fantastic cook. I remember as a child learning to prepare Julia Child and Joy of Cooking recipes with him.
What was your first kitchen job?
Stone House Bistro, my family’s restaurant

Nothing beats a solid cab with Bolognese and mostaccioli

The high desert in New Mexico

Be authentic
When not working, what are you happiest doing?
Playing a variety of stringed instruments, listening to records at home with my wife Melissa and my cat Bones, watching old episodes of Star Trek and decompressing.
What is your hidden talent that no one knows?
I sing and write music and poetry.
